About OISE Brasenose

Students reside at Brasenose College, founded in 1509 and located in the city centre. They evolve in an educational environment that is emblematic of Oxford's intellectual wealth.

English language tuition

Thanks to its experience with students in prep classes, OISE Oxford has designed a tailor-made language course for the most ambitious students aged 14 to 17. Intense, this program benefits from an exceptional setting: Brasenose College. Located in the heart of Oxford University, it is the ideal place for a rare language stay. Bringing together the best students from all over the world, The Oxford College Programme is the promise of a unique language stay in a studious and safe environment.

The Oxford College Experience Programme (30h/week)

The Oxford experience:

This programme is the most rigorous of all OISE programmes, containing 30 hours of classes per week. It is designed for young people between the ages of 14 and 17 with an advanced level of English and who want to go beyond their knowledge to excel in English in order to reach a higher level. It is an ideal language stay for students who wish to affirm and perfect their English skills.

The required level is a minimum B2. Students who do not have the level can follow a similar lightened program.

In order to familiarize themselves with the characteristics of the careers that may be offered to them, students choose a subject for the week that interests them most among:

Diplomacy and International Relations
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Medicine (New in 2019)
  • Politics, Philosophy, Economics
  • Law
  • Engineering

Cultural Program & Activities

During their language stay in Oxford, students have the opportunity to spend a day at Blenheim Palace or in London. Relaxation evenings are also organised: a walk on the typical flat-bottomed boats on the Thames, an open-air theatre or visits to the Colleges are all opportunities to explore Oxford.
